A project which regenerates the majority of an urban block within Clacton town centre, including a broad stretch of the seafront.
The scheme retains and refurbishes the historic Royal Hotel and introduces a new residential and retail component to bridge the existing gap between town centre and seafront.
Granted consent in May 2007, the 55 new apartments together with a boutique hotel, restaurant and speciality retail will add complementary, contemporary design alongside a sensitive restoration to act as a catalyst and benchmark for ongoing regeneration.
