A simple contemporary take on the traditional suburban villa that replaced an out of character 1960's house and forms the 'gatehouse' to RDA's Baseline project.
The planning authority encouraged the use of a pitched roof design, sympathetic to the surrounding detached houses of the Highlands Boulevard Estate.
The design forms a transition between the ultra-contemporary language of the Baseline properties and the traditional language of the 1930's housing estate that surrounds them.
