On a prominent, High Road corner location, this part 3, part 4 storey residential scheme replaced a masons yard and workshops. The design draws on the distinctive architectural language of the early Arts and Crafts properties in Chandos Road, with their sweeping roof and prominent gables to create a building with a complimentary, contemporary character.
An active High Road frontage is enhanced by a ground floor level commercial use within a building that responds to the differing character and scale of the busy High Road and quiet residential nature of Chandos Road.
