A 19-apartment, affordable housing scheme including a ground floor commercial unit, designed for Hyde Housing in association with Mid Sussex District Council, this development forms the first step in the regeneration of the Stone Quarry Housing Estate.
Located within a local retail centre and replacing the famous Guinea Pig public house, the scheme provides a new focus within the local community and includes the retention of important mature oak trees together with public seating and meeting areas relating to a new cafe.
The project evolved following a public meeting, exhibition and workshop with the local Community Action Team.
